Introduction to Aquatic Birds !

Keeping it very very simple ..... Aquatic Birds, commonly known as Water Birds, are a group of birds that depend on water environments. Aquatic birds live in or around water environments like creek, stream, river, swamp, marsh, pond, lake, sea and ocean. 

Aquatic Birds are a varied group that includes Screamers, Ducks, Geese, and Waterfowl, Loons, Grebes, Flamingos, Penguins, Albatrosses, Petrels and Shearwaters, Tropicbirds, Storks, Frigatebirds, Boobies and Gannets, Cormorants and Shags, Anhingas, Pelicans, Shoebill, Hamerkop, Herons, Egrets, and Bitterns, Ibises and Spoonbills, Bustards, Kagu, Sunbittern, Rails, Gallinules, and Coots, Flufftails, Finfoots, Limpkin, Trumpeters, Cranes, Sheathbills, Thick-knees, Stilts and Avocets, Ibisbill, Oystercatchers, Plovers and Lapwings, Plains-wanderer, Snipes, Jacanas, Sandpipers, Buttonquail, Pratincoles and Coursers, Skuas and Jaegers, Auks, Murres, and Puffins, Gulls, Terns, and Skimmers.
